Saunders Meadow Play Area – Community Consultation

In July, Wiltshire Council officially transferred ownership of the Saunders Meadow play area to Collingbourne Ducis Parish Council. Since then, the existing play equipment has unfortunately had to be taken out of use for safety reasons. The Parish Council must now decide how best to use the site for the benefit of the whole community.

To help guide this decision, an online survey was launched on the Parish Council website to gather residents’ views on the future of the play area. However, responses were limited and did not provide a clear direction.

As agreed at the last Parish Council meeting, a Public Meeting will therefore be held to allow parishioners to share their ideas and opinions in person.
